Okay, this post is more of an experiment than something I actually learned during ICT class. When you make a new blog post, you have the options to make it bold or italic. You don’t have to option to underline it, or change the colour, or the font size. So I’m currently writing on Microsoft Word, and I’m going to have the next paragraph written amazingly. It’s going to be all rainbowy, with different sized words, and different fonts and everything. Then I’ll copy and paste it, and see if maybe when I publish the post it works.

So here’s the amazing paragraph. See how pretty it is? See how all the words are so colourful? And some are big, and some are small! And everything is UNDERLINED!!!!!

So if this works, it will be really cool. If it doesn’t, I wasted about ten minutes and made an entire paragraph of nonsenseness.

Squiggle is awesomer!

This week, I learned a sad, sad, thing. This wonderful button----> ~
is not called a squiggle. It is called a tilde.

Which sucks so much because my last picture, the one that said 'SQUIGGLES', is wrong now. It should say 'TILDES'. But really, which one sounds better?

I also learned that a cephalopod is a real animal.

LONG LIVE THE SQUIGGLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I refuse to believe this nonsense. :P

Squiggles Picture

I made a pretty picture!! Yes, I made it on paint, because paint is awesome and easy to understand. I don't understand anything fancier than paint. And I can do cool stuff on paint, like this.

I was going to do something a fair bit cooler with the background, but I couldn't figure it out. Maybe I'll figure it out later. I was going to have the four sections be like the letters, with the funny spray paint pattern, but I didn't have time.

EPICNESSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Keyboard shortcuts >:)

This week I learned two new computer shortcuts: alt+tab and ctrl+tab

The shortcut alt+tab is used to navigate between windows you have open without using the mouse. A little window pops up when you push the two buttons, and it has icons of all your open windows on it. You push the tab button again to scroll through the different icons, and when the one you want is selected, you let go of alt, and the computer magically goes to that window! It's awesome!!!

The ctrl+tab shortcut does the same thing more or less, but it's used to navigate through open tabs on the internet instead of open windows. And when you push it, no funny little box pops up, it just magically goes to the next window if you push tab while holding ctrl.

My teacher showed me these shortcuts because she 'hates the rodent'
